  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
  • Maple syrup or honey for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a baking dish.
  2. Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread half the bread cubes in the dish, top with spoonfuls of cream cheese and banana slices.
  4. Add remaining bread and pour the milk mixture evenly over.
  5. Press gently to soak; let sit 10 minutes.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
