- Candy eyeballs or painted truffles (for eyes)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease three 8-inch round cake pans.
- Make chocolate cake batter with flour, cocoa, butter, sugar, eggs, and baking agents; bake for 30–35 minutes.
- Prepare chocolate buttercream and stack the cake layers, frosting in between.
- Cover with a light layer of buttercream, then pour chocolate ganache over the top for a dripping effect.
- Sculpt a creepy skull face into the side with a knife or spatula, filling details with darker frosting.
- Insert candy eyeballs or decorated truffles into the sockets, using red glaze or jam for “blood.”
- Top with truffles, wafer sticks, and a drizzle of red glaze for a gory finish.
