Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 batch pretzel dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Coarse salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a skillet, cook beef with onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Let cool slightly.
  3. Divide pretzel dough into 6 pieces; flatten each into a circle.
  4. Place beef filling and cheddar in the center, then seal tightly into a ball.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  6. Bake 20–22 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm with dipping sauce if desired.
