Description
A comforting casserole featuring tender potatoes and smoky kielbasa sausage baked in a rich, creamy cheese sauce, topped with crispy bacon.

- 1 lb Kielbasa sausage (sliced)
- 4 cups Potatoes (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Onion (optional)
- 4 slices Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- Parsley (for garnish)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook sliced kielbasa in a skillet until browned, then set aside.
- In the same pan, make a cheese sauce with butter, cream, cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half the sliced potatoes in the dish, top with sausage, then pour cheese sauce. Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until potatoes are tender and golden.
- Top with crumbled bacon and parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sautéed onions to the sausage layer.
- Ensure potatoes are thinly sliced for even cooking.
- Can substitute kielbasa with other smoked sausages if desired.
