Delicious cherry cheesecake brownies with a rich chocolate brownie base and a creamy cheesecake layer topped with cherry pie filling.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until just combined — do not overmix.
- Spread about ¾ of batter evenly in pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
- Spread cheesecake mixture over brownie layer.
- Spoon cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer.
- Drop remaining brownie batter on top in spoonfuls. Gently swirl with a knife for marbled effect.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, until center is just set.
- Cool completely, then slice into squares.
Notes
- Make sure not to overmix the brownie batter to ensure a nice texture.
- For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
