Description

A delicious cherry tart made with creamy mascarpone cheese and fresh cherries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and fit the pie crust into a tart pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss pitted cherries with 1/4 cup sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, remaining sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly in the pie crust, then layer the cherries on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are golden and filling jiggles slightly.
  6. Cool completely before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
