Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar together, then mix in egg and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and cocoa powder until a soft dough forms.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with 2 tbsp sugar until smooth.
- Scoop chocolate dough balls, flatten slightly, and spoon a bit of cheesecake mixture on top.
- Bake 12–14 minutes until edges are set and centers soft.
- Top with shaved chocolate while warm, then cool before serving.

- Ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
- Do not overbake; the centers should remain soft for a fudgy texture.
