Description
This decadent white chocolate cranberry tart features a creamy ganache layered with a tart cranberry mixture, all in a buttery crust.

- 8 oz white chocolate
- 0 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 0 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest

- 1 9-inch tart crust (pre-baked)
- Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups fresh cranberries, 0 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon orange zest. Cook over medium heat for 7–9 minutes until cranberries have burst and mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in 0 teaspoon vanilla extract. Let cool completely.
- Chop 8 oz white chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat 0 cup heavy cream with 2 tablespoons unsalted butter until steaming but not boiling.
- Pour the hot cream mixture over the white chocolate and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour the ganache into your pre-baked 9-inch tart shell and smooth it out.
- Spoon the cooled cranberry mixture over the ganache, spreading gently or swirling slightly for effect.
- Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Just before serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- This tart can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality white chocolate.
