Ingredients
- Croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Chocolate truffles or chocolate eggs (for body base)
- White chocolate (for skeleton ribs & bones)
- Candy skull toppers (or molded white chocolate skulls)
- Egg wash (for shine)
- Whipped cream (for serving)
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional spooky garnish)
Instructions
- Roll croissant dough and wrap partially around chocolate truffles to create a “blanket.”
- Brush with egg wash and bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Melt white chocolate, pipe thin ribcage and bone designs onto parchment, let set.
- Once croissants are cooled slightly, tuck skeleton ribcages inside the pastry with candy skull heads at the top.
- Dust lightly with cocoa powder or edible glitter for effect.
- Plate with whipped cream “ghosts” or dollops for extra fun.
- Serve warm for a spooky pastry treat.
