Description

A delicious sauté of cauliflower and mushrooms, perfect as a side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms (e.g., cremini or button), sliced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing and cutting the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden and tender.
  4. Toss in the cauliflower florets along with the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  5. Cover the skillet and let the vegetables cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the vegetables are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, allowing it to melt and coat everything in the skillet.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
