Description

A quick and delightful dish featuring juicy shrimp and tender broccoli tossed in garlic butter, served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high.
  2. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes; cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and remaining butter, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Toss in broccoli florets, cook until bright green and slightly tender.
  5. Return shrimp to skillet, squeeze in lemon juice, and toss to coat.
  6. Serve shrimp and broccoli over a bed of warm rice.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust chili flakes according to your heat preference.
  • For a low-carb option, substitute rice with cauliflower rice.
