- 8 oz Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 cups Cooked rice (preferably day-old)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 Green onions or chives (chopped)
- 1 Carrot (diced)
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat butter in a skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and slightly golden; set aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit more butter and toss in carrots and rice.
- Stir-fry with soy sauce and sesame oil until evenly coated and lightly crispy.
- Press rice into a small mold or bowl to form a stack shape, then plate.
- Arrange garlic shrimp neatly on top and garnish with chopped chives or green onions.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of extra butter sauce from the pan.

- Using day-old rice helps achieve the perfect texture.
