Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season them with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Grill the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the pan and let it rest. Slice the chicken into strips.
- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Add sliced grilled chicken on top and toss gently.
