Ingredients

  • Apple cider
  • Puff pastry sheets
  • Whole cloves (for eyes)
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)
  • Nutmeg
  • Allspice
  • Star anise (optional)
  • Egg wash (for pastry)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into skull shapes using a cookie cutter (or freehand). Carve eye/nose details with a knife.
  3. Brush lightly with egg wash and bake 10–12 minutes until golden and puffed. Insert cloves as eyes.
