Description

Delicious banana donuts that are easy to make and perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 banana (mashed)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar for dusting (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan lightly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mash banana. Whisk in sugar, egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold dry mixture into wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Spoon batter into donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep the donuts light and fluffy.
  • Perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat any time of the day.
