Delicious chocolate chip cookies topped with fresh strawberries.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool before dipping them in melted chocolate and topping with fresh strawberries.

- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- These cookies can be frozen and baked later.
