Description

A delicious appetizer featuring toasted baguette slices topped with creamy brie cheese and a warm cranberry chutney.


Ingredients

  • 1 crusty baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz creamy brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and chopped onion. Stir occasionally until bubbling and cranberries burst (about 10 minutes).
  4. Remove toasted baguette from the oven and top each slice with brie cheese followed by a spoonful of warm cranberry chutney.
  5. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the brie melts slightly.
  6. Serve warm on a platter as a delicious appetizer.
