- 1 crusty baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 8 oz creamy brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and chopped onion. Stir occasionally until bubbling and cranberries burst (about 10 minutes).
- Remove toasted baguette from the oven and top each slice with brie cheese followed by a spoonful of warm cranberry chutney.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the brie melts slightly.
- Serve warm on a platter as a delicious appetizer.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar according to the sweetness of the cranberries.
