Description

This crispy baked tofu recipe is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy tofu, perfect for salads, bowls, or as a snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain and press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and garlic powder. Toss the tofu cubes in this mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Drizzle sesame oil over the coated cubes and mix well. Arrange on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, adding sesame seeds in the last five minutes.
  6. For the dipping sauce, mix honey (or maple syrup) with Sriracha in a bowl.
