Description

This delicious pear upside down cake features a caramelized layer of ripe pears and a moist, buttery cake.


Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly; pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Layer sliced pears over the caramel mixture.
  4. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; in another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
