Description

A delightful, savory cookie with parmesan cheese and fresh rosemary.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in grated parmesan and chopped rosemary.
  3. Gradually sift in flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  4. Stir in egg yolk and milk until dough forms.
  5. Roll dough into small balls, flatten slightly, and cut out snowflake shapes using a cookie cutter.
  6. Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown at the edges.
