Ingredients

- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 tbsp water

- Cat-shaped silicone molds
Instructions
- Make caramel by heating sugar and water until amber; pour into the bottom of molds.
- Heat milk gently with sugar until dissolved, then cool slightly.
- Whisk eggs and vanilla, then slowly combine with warm milk mixture.
- Strain the custard, pour over caramel, and place molds in a water bath.
- Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes until set but jiggly. Cool, then chill for 2 hours.
- Unmold carefully, add cat faces using edible gel or melted chocolate.
