Description

Create fun and whimsical Kiwi Monster Bites for Halloween using fresh fruit and simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large Kiwis
  • 3 Strawberries (sliced thin)
  • 12 Mini marshmallows (for eyes)
  • 2 tbsp Melted dark chocolate (for pupils)
  • Toothpicks (to secure eyes)
  • Lemon juice (optional, to prevent browning)
  • Small plate for serving

Instructions

  1. Peel kiwis and slice each one horizontally into three thick rounds.
  2. Stack two slices with a strawberry slice between them to look like a monster tongue sticking out.
  3. Place two mini marshmallows on top using a toothpick or a dab of chocolate as glue.
  4. Dot melted chocolate on each marshmallow to create cartoon eyes.
  5. Tilt slices slightly to make expressive monster β€œmouths.”
  6. Refrigerate for 5–10 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve on a small plate for a whimsical Halloween fruit platter!

Notes

  • Use lemon juice to prevent the kiwis from browning if preparing in advance.
  • Feel free to customize the monster faces with different fruits or decorations.
