Ingredients

  • 2 cups bell peppers (1 cup red, 1 cup yellow)

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the bell peppers and onion, and mincing the garlic. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 3 minutes). Then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula; cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  5. Stir in bell peppers along with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs; cook until peppers are tender (approximately 5 more minutes).
  6. Serve warm on plates or bowls; enjoy it plain or over rice/quinoa.
