Description
Crispy fried chicken tossed in a sweet and garlicky sticky glaze served over rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ½ cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- Oil for frying
- Cooked white rice for serving
- Fresh parsley or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry chicken until golden and crispy; set aside.
- In another pan, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and ginger. Simmer until thickened.
- Add fried chicken to the sauce and toss until fully coated and glossy.
- Serve over a bed of rice.
- Garnish with parsley or sesame seeds.
- Enjoy immediately while hot and sticky.
Notes
- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying for a crispy texture.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to taste.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
