Instructions
- Prepare the Apples:
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
- Insert a lollipop stick into the top of each apple.
- Optional: Dip each apple in boiling water for a few seconds to remove any waxy coating.
- Make the Candy Coating:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Stir in a few drops of yellow gel food coloring until the desired shade is reached.
- Assemble the Ears:
- Cut mini marshmallows in half and attach them to the top sides of each apple using a small amount of melted chocolate as glue.
- Dip the Apples:
- Hold each apple by the stick and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering the entire surface.
- Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Immediately sprinkle the top with pastel sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
- Add Decorations:
- Gently press edible wafer paper decorations onto the front of the apple.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely, placing apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
