Description

Delicious salmon fillets glazed with apricot preserves and Dijon mustard, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix apricot preserves and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  4. Generously spoon the glaze over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Let rest briefly before serving, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze.
  • Ensure the salmon is fresh for the best flavor and texture.
