Ingredients

  • Ground beef – 1 lb (450g)
  • Spaghetti – 12 oz
  • Shredded cheddar or mozzarella – 1 cup
  • Marinara sauce – 1 ½ cups
  • Egg – 1
  • Breadcrumbs – ½ cup
  • Garlic powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt & pepper – to taste
  • Black olives – sliced (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare meatballs: Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; shape into 12 medium balls.
  2. Bake: Place meatballs on a tray and bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Cook pasta: Boil spaghetti until al dente, drain, and toss with marinara sauce.
  4. Add cheese “faces”: Place meatballs on top of the spaghetti, sprinkle cheese on each one, and return to oven until melted.
  5. Make eyes: Add two olive slices on top of each melted cheese portion for spooky monster eyes.
  6. Assemble: Serve four cheesy meatballs over a bed of saucy spaghetti.
