Description

Delicious homemade croutons, perfect for salads or soups.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups bread (cut into ¾-inch cubes)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the bread cubes to a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil. Sprinkle with the seasonings and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
