These Peppermint Bark Oreos are a delicious treat, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 2 cups (340 g) white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening (or coconut oil, or vegetable oil, optional)
- ½ teaspoon mint extract
- 16 Oreos
- ½ cup peppermint candies (crushed)
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set the sheet aside.
- Add the white chocolate chips to a bowl. Add the shortening or oil if using. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave on 30 second intervals until the chocolate is completely melted. Stir after each interval.
- Once the chocolate is completely melted, quickly whisk in the mint extract.
- Dip each Oreo in the melted chocolate and place the Oreos on the prepared pan. Sprinkle each Oreo with some crushed peppermint candies.
- Chill your peppermint bark Oreos in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set. Enjoy!

- Make sure to stir the chocolate thoroughly for a smooth consistency.
