Description
A delicious seafood dish featuring scallops and shrimp sautéed in garlic butter.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large scallops
- 1 pound large shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the scallops and shrimp under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, season the scallops and shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss until well-coated.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until foamy.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Return the scallops to the skillet, add lemon juice, and gently toss everything together until evenly coated with the garlic butter.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Ensure scallops are dried properly for better searing.
